About BanterBox

People gather to share ideas. Too few insights leave the room.

BanterBox carries the conversations that happen on stages and in meeting rooms to the people who weren't there: the moments that mattered, the themes that ran through them, and the takeaways worth acting on. For the people who were there, it separates the signal from the noise of a long day.

The Box

Every Event Happens in a Room

A panel at a policy forum. A keynote at an annual meeting. A one-hour discussion on a Tuesday afternoon. Each one brings people together to argue, explain and test ideas in front of each other, and each one is bounded by the walls of the room and the length of the session.

What happens afterwards is usually thin. A recording goes online and waits for someone with an hour to spare. A short recap is read once. The sharpest exchange of the day, the one people talked about in the corridor, is buried at minute forty-three of a video nobody will scrub through.

And no one can be in every room. At a conference, sessions run side by side. At a strategy retreat, the real work happens in breakout groups, and each group hears only its own.

The people who organized the event spent months on it. The people on stage brought their best thinking. Little of it reaches the people who weren't in the seats, and the people who were go home with a day of conversations in their heads and no easy way to sort the highlights from the rest.

We Help the Conversation Break out of the Room

BanterBox listens to the whole program, every stage and every breakout room, and does the work that turns hours of talk into something people can read, watch and share the same week, often the same day, whether they missed it or sat through every minute.

  1. Capture Every Word

Every session transcribed, with each speaker named, from the stage feed or the recording you already have.

  2. Highlight Key Moments

The lines and exchanges that carried the room, each checked against the recording and linked to the second it was spoken.

  3. Synthesize the Themes

The ideas that ran across sessions, days and breakout rooms, where people agreed, and where they didn't.

  4. Crystallize the Takeaways

What was decided, proposed or left open, distilled so anyone, in the room or not, can act on it.

  5. Package It for Every Channel

Pages that sit inside your own website, recap emails, clips, quote cards and packages for each speaker to share.

  6. Publish It Under Your Name

Your editors review it and change it, and where you choose, nothing goes out until you approve it. It goes out as yours.

Human First

The Voices Are Human. The Creativity Is Yours. The AI Does the Heavy Lifting.

We lead with people: the speakers who did the thinking, and you, the editors and communicators who decide what your audience should see and how it should look. AI works in between. It transcribes, sorts and drafts, so that hours of conversation can become a clear record in hours, not weeks.

Because the words belong to real people, accuracy is not optional. Every quote we feature is checked against the recording and linked to the moment it was said, so any reader can hear it for themselves (how we check quotes). Every page goes to your editors for review before it is published.

The result is not a summary written by a machine. It is your event, organized so that more people can take part in it.

Every Size

From a One-Hour Panel to a Multi-Day Summit

Flagship conferences have always had press teams and video crews. The everyday events, the lunchtime briefings, the book talks and the roundtables, rarely have anyone. They are where much of an institution's thinking actually happens.

BanterBox is built to work at both ends: the multi-day summit that needs a daily edition by evening, the strategy session whose breakout groups need to hear each other, and the single session that deserves more than a video link. The same platform, the same care, sized to the event.

In Practice

Already Carrying Conversations Further

BanterBox works with policy institutions on their flagship forums, their everyday events and their internal strategy sessions. Two examples, each published on the institution's own website:

The Name

Banter is the conversation. The box is the room it happens in. Our work is to open the box, so the ideas inside reach everyone who should hear them.
